Dubai: World Art Dubai (WAD) returns for its 11th edition from April 17–20, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together over 400 artists and galleries from 65+ countries.
This year’s event promises an exciting fusion of art, entertainment, and new global opportunities for up-and-coming artists. With its increasing international presence, WAD has solidified its reputation as a key platform for artistic discovery, offering visitors a chance to explore 10,000 artworks for sale while celebrating diverse cultures.
A major highlight of WAD 2025 is its evolving exhibitor program, which aims to enhance the visitor and exhibitor experience. New initiatives such as the VIP Preview, an exclusive event for art collectors and buyers, and the Hosted Buyer Programme, which matches exhibitors with collectors for strategic interactions, will further boost the fair’s commercial and cultural vitality. These additions are designed to strengthen Dubai’s position as a cultural hub and expand its thriving art scene.
WAD 2025 is also introducing new country pavilions, including representations from Zimbabwe, Mongolia, Australia, and Estonia, offering a broader spectrum of global art.
The addition of pavilions from the UAE and the Philippines, alongside expanded pavilions from countries like Turkey, showcases a diverse range of artistic traditions and helps foster cross-cultural dialogue. These pavilions reflect the fair's mission to offer an international platform for emerging artists, giving them the opportunity to connect with global audiences and art collectors.
As a strategic partner, Dubai Culture will present an exciting program at WAD 2025, including live art demonstrations, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and youth initiatives. The fair will also spotlight the Textile Hub, a new dedicated space highlighting the storytelling power of textiles through live demonstrations and hands-on workshops.
Furthermore, large-scale public art installations will transform Dubai’s urban landscape, ensuring that the fair’s impact extends beyond its venue and engages the broader community.
With China being the Country of Honour for 2025, the fair will feature a dedicated pavilion showcasing both traditional and contemporary Chinese art, along with live cultural performances.
this initiative further promotes international dialogue and strengthens Dubai's role as a global art destination. WAD 2025 promises to be a vibrant celebration of creativity, connecting artists, collectors, and cultural enthusiasts from around the world.
